NORMALLY WE TEXT.
LAST NIGHT WE TALKED OVER SIPS & SMALL PLATES AT WICKWOOD.
TODAY, WE DIDN’T TALK AT ALL. WE WERE TOO BUSY LAUGHING.
The sun is out
and the beaches ready for walking. The fairways at Clearbrook and The
Ravines are green. Saugatuck Sailing is launching any moment with rides
for 2 or 20, daytime and at sunset. And Retro boats are in the water.
Pennyroyal, our newest restaurant, is about to open. Expectations are
high. GROW now serves dinner and French wines and the porches at
Borrowed Time, The Mitten and Bowdie's are open. Chris Brubeck and The
Best of Second City are booked at the SCA. Tulip Time arrives shortly,
Virtue Is celebrating Lapinette and Arbor Day weekends and Frozé has
arrived. The Artz & Garden Studio Tour is on for May, and Saugatuck's
Expo arrives soon after. The Season has begun.
